1963-68 - Skagen II came to be Stena Line's first own passenger ship. The ship of 878 gross tons was built in 1924 at Oskarshamn Mekaniska Verkstad and was first called the Visby. She was bought in 1963 for SEK 105 000, and was then converted at the Götaverken Shipyard in Gothenburg when she also changed name ti Skagen II.
