  • M/S Poseidon by Stenpiren the 20th of March 1969. 1964-72 - Poseidon was the first passenger ship built by the Stena Group. She weighed 1 363 gross tons and was built at Ulstein Mekaniska Verkstad A/S in Norway. She could take 600 passengers but had no car deck. At the end of 1972 Poseidon was sold to the French shipping company Vedettes Amoricaines in Brest, where she was put into service across the English Channel. Then she changed owners several times.
